"Too romantic!" Beautiful badminton player from the Paris Olympics gets married internationally in a surprise move. Scene of her receiving a proposal in a white dress elicits reactions of "what a beautiful couple"
Aya Ohori (28), a badminton player who represented Japan at the Paris Olympics and retired from active competition last year, announced on her Instagram on the 27th that she had married Malaysian male player Ong Yu Sin (30), a bronze medalist at the 2021 World Championships.
Quoting Ong's post, he posted a photo of Ohori, dressed in a pure white dress, on his knees, offering her a ring and proposing to her. "She said yes. I couldn't be happier to share this with the world. Different nationalities, different cultures, different lifestyles. We will adapt to and accept each other's lifestyles and understand each other's cultures over the years (we still fight all the time). Our eternity begins today," he wrote.
