On the 14th, actress Rei Shirakawa (21), the second daughter of former yokozuna Takanohana Koji Hanada (51) and freelance news reporter Keiko Kono (59), appeared at Maki Fukuda(35) (of the comedy trio 3 o'clock heroine) on Fuji TV. Attended the production announcement of the TV series ``Konkatsu 1000 Knock'' (starting on the 17th, Wednesday, 10:00 pm) in which she stars. ``I'm more excited than nervous, and I'm really happy to be able to create the same work with everyone,'' she said, expressing her joy.
This is Shirakawa's first regular appearance in a drama series. She plays the role of an otaku(nerd) who is the editor in charge of the heroine Ayako Minami (Fukuda), a novelist who is trying to find a new lover and try her hand at marriage. ``(At first), when I heard that I would be playing a role with an otaku personality, I thought it might not be for me,'' but when I asked my family, they said, ``They surprisingly said that it fits me as I have a personality that if I get into something, I'll do it until I get tired of it, I was pushed on the back."
The production presentation was attended by Fukuda and Yusei Yagi (26), vocalist of the eight-member dance and vocal group FANTASTICS. Shirakawa's eyes lit up until the end, saying, ``I'm so excited about every single scene at every filming location, as if it were a drama.''
This work is a marriage-hunting comedy that empathizes with the life of the heroine Ayako Minami (played by Fukuda), who challenges marriage hunting in search of an encounter, and laughs at the failures that Ayako and her ghost buddy Yamada (played by Yagi) struggle together.
