On the 3rd, actress Tao Tsuchiya attended the Japan premiere of the film "Hakkenden" (released on the 25th), starring Koji Yakusho, along with Haru Kuroki and others, held on Nakadori Street in COREDO Muromachi in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

The story is a live-action version of Futaro Yamada's novel "Hakkenden: Volumes 1 and 2," which is based on "Nansō Satomi Hakkenden" by Edo period author Bakin Takizawa, which is considered the origin of Japanese fantasy novels.
Tsuchiya said with emotion, "I am thrilled that this exciting work, born from the marriage of a timeless story and the latest technology, will reach the world from Nihonbashi, where Bakin and (Katsushika) Hokusai would have passed through. I am truly happy to be able to be here with you all here under the same sky, which has not changed since the Edo period."
