Akina Nakamori, 59, "What is Twitter?" Her first radio appearance since her comeback begins with a surprising question: "What is a hashtag?"
Singer Akina Nakamori (59) hosted her first radio personality since her comeback on Nippon Broadcasting System's special program "Akina Nakamori's All Time Requests" (5:30 p.m.) on the 15th. This was Nakamori's second special request program, following last year's. Last time, she provided audio comments, but this time she participated in the recording at the station's studio.
Nakamori started the show with her unique excitement, saying, "Sunday, December 15th, the time is 5:30. Good evening. I'm Akina Nakamori..." She reported on her current situation, saying, "I've been able to own a smartphone for almost two years now. But I still can't figure out how to use it," surprising Mitz Mangrove and newscaster Tadashi Kakihana, and then she continued with a crazy conversation from the beginning, asking, "What is a hashtags? What is Twitter?"
In her first radio appearance since her comeback, Nakamori called out to listeners, "Are you all listening? We're going to be doing this for four hours," and took requests by phone. Nakamori was to choose the first song, and when asked for the name, she hesitated, saying, "Does it have to be my song? Um..." Then she spotted the T-shirt that Mitsu was wearing and said, "Let's go with TATTOO! Please listen to Akina Nakamori's 'TATTOO'."
