On the 28th, actors Yuichiro Yamaguchi (68) and Yu Shirota (39) appeared at a production announcement press conference in Tokyo for the musical "Dance of the Vampires" (May 10-31, Tokyo Tatemono Brillia Hall and others), in which they will star together as a double main cast, along with their co-star Takuto Teranishi (30) of Timelesz.

This musical was first performed in Japan in 2006, and this will be the sixth time it has been performed in six years. Yamaguchi said enthusiastically, "I'm happy to be able to perform this with everyone. I'm looking forward to the double main cast, which is coming up soon."

Teranishi, who plays Alfred, also mentioned his nickname "the nation's ex-boyfriend" at the press conference. "It's a bit of a problem because it makes me seem like a playboy," he said with a wry smile, but added, "I'm grateful that people find it amusing." As a member of Timelesz, he told the other members, "I'll have them come (to the stage). The new members won't have any experience with acting, so I hope they'll come and see."
