On the 21st, Ae! Group's Masaya Sano (23) appeared on stage with co-starring voice actor Toshiki Masuda (35) at the opening day stage greeting for the 3DCG animated film "Yozen" in Tokyo.

This will be Sano's first time as a voice actor and his first lead role in an anime movie. "I was worried about whether I would be able to do voice work, but I feel a strong sense of relief that it has finally been released," he said with a smile.

At the event, in reference to "Yozen who has lost his godly powers," Sano was asked "What is the one skill you don't want to lose?" Sano unexpectedly confessed, "About four years ago, on a TV program, I was able to get 100 points at karaoke." He said it was a very difficult challenge, saying, "It's been about two years since I last got 100 points at karaoke. It requires very detailed karaoke knowledge and singing technique," and laughed, "Right now, I'm losing my godly powers, so I'd like to get them again. I'm in my downfall as Yozen."

The film is a feature-length animation produced by a Chinese animation studio, featuring Yang Jian, a character from the classic Chinese novel "Investiture of the Gods."
